On April 14th the Uniflex team participated in the kayak eco-tour on the Isloch river. The main mission was to collect plastic and glass waste from the water and near the waterline. Equipped with paddles and garbage bags, volunteers started the tour after the instruction.
Eco-tour. The beginning
The route appeared to be rather challenging as shallow and twisty Isloch featured fallen trees, sunken logs and low-level bridges. It was the teamwork that helped to overcome difficulties through the route.
Alongside with lots of waste, there were plenty of obstructions on the route
Nevertheless, hardships weren't for vain and Uniflex team completed the mission. An impressive pile of full garbage bags was loaded in a track, after which participants were finally able to rest.
Well done!
