Most grocery goods are dry and eagerly accumulate moisture from the environment. Oxygen, sunlight, and ultraviolet radiation affect them negatively. Grocery is vulnerable to microorganisms that reduce nutritional value and freshness of the product. Every type of grocery product requires a customized packaging solution.

Dry packaging for cereals, pasta, and powdered products or bulk solids requires high-barrier, single or multi-layer composite laminates with high level of protection against the environment. Pasta wrapping should also be tear and puncture resistant.

Double-layer laminates based on PP and cast PP are one of the most popular in grocery covering. These composites are sturdy, ensure good protection against gases and moisture, and are not restrictive from the design perspective:

• transparent PP
• cast PP

For maximum protection, shelf life, and barrier qualities we recommend using multilayer laminates with aluminium foil:

• transparent PET
• aluminium foil
• transparent PE

This is the optimal choice of composites for cereals, powdered milk, sugar powder, coconut flakes, starch, poppy seed, dried breadcrumbs, flour, and peas. As most products raise dust during the packaging process, we make sure packaging seams are extra durable even with high amounts of dust during the sealing.

Mono PE - consists of several layers of polyethylene. Can be barrier and non-barrier, transparent and full color. Suitable for replacing PET / PE structures.

Mono PP - it consists of several layers of polypropylene. It can also be barrier and non-barrier.
